Odyssey Apps for Ignition put a touch terminal at every station. Operators job on, post production and scrap, and record downtime, and each entry reaches Odyssey as it happens, with no paper and no double entry. Watch the two-minute demo ↓
Configure your stations and the apps are ready to use. Everything an operator posts goes to Odyssey, and the floor board reads it back.
Operators sign in with their clock number and pick from the shop orders scheduled to their line, with progress and due dates. They post good parts every hour and log scrap with the most common reasons listed first. At job off, the next scheduled order is already selected.

With the machine's run signal connected to Ignition, the terminal sees it stop on its own. When it restarts, the operator picks a reason, and the downtime posts to Odyssey with the exact minutes. Stations without a signal log downtime by hand.

Odyssey and Shop Floor Manager are products of B&L Information Systems.
Engineers on our team used Odyssey inside foundries before they built integrations for it. Since then we have connected Ignition to Odyssey at foundries running it in production, most of which we can't name. One we can is Ferroloy, an iron foundry in Wichita, Kansas, where molding machines sync with Odyssey and spectrometer data from the QA lab sits in the same Ignition system.
For job on and off, production and scrap punches, and downtime, yes. You can switch over one station at a time, and the toolkit can be extended to cover more of what your stations do today.
Yes. Operators can search any active product and job on to it, even one their line has never run.
The apps run on Ignition with the Perspective module. If you don't have Ignition yet, we size the license with you, and as an Inductive Automation Premier Integrator we can supply it.
Yes. You receive the Perspective project and the toolkit's scripts, and the four included hours cover how both work and how to extend them.
$10,000, one time, including four hours with the engineers who built it. Ignition licenses and any custom work are quoted separately.
