Everything on this site — articles, case studies, technical descriptions, documentation, and code examples — is published for general information. Industrial control environments differ enormously, and nothing here is engineering advice for your specific system, nor a substitute for the judgement of a qualified engineer who knows it. Do not rely on this site as the basis for a decision affecting a live process without independent verification.
Software offered for download on this site is licensed under its own End User License Agreement, which is included inside the downloadable file and is displayed for acceptance at install time. That agreement governs the software and prevails over these Terms in any conflict. Artek modules are distributed free of charge, AS IS, without warranty and without any obligation of support — read the licence before you install anything.
The Ignition MRI is a free inspection service. When you send us a gateway backup we analyse it and return a report of the risks we identified. The report is provided AS IS, for your engineers to verify against the evidence it cites. We do not warrant that it identifies every risk, defect or vulnerability present in your system, and a report that finds little is not a representation that little exists. Effort ratings in the report are our engineers’ indicative judgement of the work involved in a remedy; they are not an offer, quote or estimate of price, and no engagement is formed by the report. We may decline or limit any request. Our handling of the data you send is described in the Privacy Policy.
The content, design, text, graphics, and layout of this site are owned by Artek or used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may view, download, and print pages for your own internal reference. You may not republish, sell, or redistribute site content, or present it as your own, without our written permission.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Exclusive venue for any dispute arising out of or relating to them lies in the state and federal courts located in Sacramento County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.
We may revise these Terms. The revised version takes effect when posted here, with an updated effective date. Continuing to use the site after that constitutes acceptance.
