Privacy Policy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and its contact form never sends anything to our servers. The one time you might send us data — a backup for a free Ignition MRI — is covered below.

Effective 9 September 2026

Who we are

Artek Integrated Solutions, 1024 Iron Point Road, Folsom, California 95630, United States. Questions about this policy: info@artekis.io or (877) 318-0200.

What this site collects

Very little, and less than most sites you will visit today.

  • The contact form does not submit to us. It composes a message in your own email program using a mailto: link. Nothing you type is transmitted to, processed by, or stored on this website. If you choose to send that email, we receive it the way we receive any other email, and we keep it as business correspondence.
  • Web server logs. Our web server records ordinary request information — IP address, date and time, the page requested, referring page, and browser user-agent string. These are used to operate and secure the site and to diagnose faults.
  • No cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own.
  • No analytics, advertising, or tracking. There is no Google Analytics, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, and no third-party tracking script anywhere on this site.
  • No accounts. There is nothing here to register for and no profile to create.

Third parties your browser contacts

Typefaces are served from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a page therefore causes your browser to request font files from Google, and Google receives your IP address and user-agent as part of that request. That request is governed by Google's own privacy policy, not this one.

Pages link out to third-party sites — among them Inductive Automation, YouTube, and LinkedIn. Following a link takes you to a site with its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Downloadable software offered on this site is served from our own infrastructure. Downloading a file involves no registration and no form.

If you request an Ignition MRI

The free Ignition MRI is the one thing on this site that involves sending us data. You choose to do it, and it works like this:

  • What we receive. A gateway backup (.gwbk) and, if you choose, a project export. These contain your project source, configuration, tag definitions, database connection settings and, depending on how the gateway was set up, credentials and other secrets.
  • How it reaches us. Through a secure transfer link we send you after you ask. Never through the contact form, and we’ll ask you not to email it.
  • What we do with it. We analyse it with our own tooling and a senior engineer reviews the result to produce your report. Access is limited to the Artek engineers working on it. We do not share it with anyone else and we do not use it to train anything.
  • How long we keep it. We delete the backup and our working copies within 30 days of delivering your report, unless you engage us for follow-on work or ask us to keep it. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time, and we’ll confirm in writing when it’s done.
  • Your report is yours. We keep a copy as business correspondence unless you ask us to remove it.

How we use what we hold

Correspondence you send us is used to answer you and to carry out any work you engage us for. Server logs are used to run and protect the site. That is the whole of it.

We do not sell personal information, and we never have. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it to build profiles or serve targeted advertising.

Retention

Server logs are retained only as long as they are useful for operations and security, and are rotated in the ordinary course. Business correspondence is retained for as long as needed for the relationship it concerns and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Do Not Track

Some browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" signal. Because this site performs no tracking across time or across third-party sites, there is no tracking behavior for such a signal to change, and we do not respond to it differently.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, ask us to correct it, and ask how it has been disclosed. Because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, there is nothing to opt out of — but you may make the request anyway and we will confirm that position in writing. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

To make a request, email info@artekis.io. We may need to ask you for enough information to verify who you are before we act on it.

Children

This site is a business-to-business site for industrial automation professionals. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes we will post the revised version here and update the effective date at the top. Material changes will be evident from that date.
